I took part in an English workshop at the prefectural office building in Saga yesterday. I'm a member of international cultural exchanges, which allows me to join a variety of activities from exotic cooking lessons to bazaars. A workshop called "Lunch time seminar" is held twice a month on an average, and participants mainly listen to a native speaker of English who gives a presentation on culture of her homeland, Canada.
At the end of yesterday's seminar, I gave away the fact that I started studying English at the age of 28. The other participants seemed to be surprised to know that I've studied English through radio English programs only.
YOU CAN DO IT, TOO!
Once you get into the habit of listening to the radio, it's a cinch.
