My son has baseball practice matches on weekends. Most of the time my husband and I take him to ballparks, and my daughter tends to be alone at home after her volleyball practice. Yesterday, however, she didn't have a practice due to a preparation for coming end-of-term examination, so she accompanied us.
My son had three games yesterday: two in the daytime and another one in the evening. I had been a bit worried about his condition, but he looked just happy and excited.
It was pretty rare for us to have a game in the evening, but someone in the team seemed to have made a request to let their children to have a precious opportunity to play baseball in an actual atmosphere. It did work for our kids, I think. The boys and girls in two teams thoroughly enjoyed themselves playing baseball under the open night sky, and the parents felt fulfilled as well.
My son hit a double down the left-field line twice among six-graders. I was very proud of him!
