I headed for a cafe in the morning to chat with friends in English. "Mum's English", an English club I organized with a friend of mine about 10 years ago, has some 10 members now. We mainly focus on how to improve speaking skill rather than writing or reading ones, but this time I picked an English article to discuss beforehand. I also prepared a simple test to memorize words we learned from the article.

Jason, our dedicated guest teacher, kindly spent three hours talking with us over coffee. I'm really glad to see him having fun as before. It was a while since I'd talked to an English native speaker last, so I felt fulfilled when he corrected my poor pronunciation.
I'd like to improve my English more. I'd like to speak more fluently. I'd like to make my English sound more sophisticated. I know I have a long way to go, but I'll do what I have on my plate because I like English very much!
