I have a friend, and she is an English teacher. She came from England, and we've kept in contact for over ten years. We got to know each other via newsgroup. If I'm not mistaken, it was in 1999. Time flies, really. My writing must've been funny enough to read, I suppose, otherwise she wouldn't have tried to contact me. I really appreciate my poor writing skills, though. That's how I was found, and we became good friends.
After moving one place to another, I came back to my hometown several years ago. We met again in person, but it took a while until I set my mind on taking her lesson regularly. At the thought of my children's education expenses, I gave up the idea of spending some money on me. But I finally realized that I'd be armed for my own future. I knocked on her door and asked a help. She accepted me with open arms. I'm going to take her lesson with other 3 students tomorrow evening. I need to practice for speaking. I really do.
